Ferdi Akın was born in Eskişehir in 1979. He completed his undergraduate education at Anadolu University, Faculty of Business Administration, and then completed his associate degree in Occupational Health and Safety at Atatürk University and his master's degree in Occupational Health and Safety at Karadeniz Technical University, Institute of Science.

He started his professional career in 2001 at TUSAŞ-TEI, which operates in the aviation and defense industry, and gained various experiences starting from the core of security during 16 years of international business. Afterwards, he worked as a security manager at three different businesses of Şişecam, one of the pioneers of the glass industry, located in Eskişehir, including "glass packaging - printing - recycling", while also undertaking duties in the management and administration of the Administrative Affairs unit.

He worked as the "Administrative Affairs and Security Manager" at Safi Derince International Port within Safi Holding and then successfully served as the Administrative Affairs and Security Manager of many businesses in different cities belonging to İGSAŞ – İstanbul Gübre Sanayii A.Ş. After retiring from his position at İGSAŞ, he continues his career as the Social / Administrative Affairs Manager at E-KART Elektronik Kart Sistemleri A.Ş., which was established as a partnership between Eczacıbaşı and the German G+D company.

At the same time, he serves as the Founding Member and Vice President of the Association of Administrative Affairs Managers (IDAYÖN), which brings together industry professionals, and contributes to professional development by sharing his knowledge and experience.
